987 2.7 front brake parts required

Aside from the obvious discs and pads, does each side have a wear sensor as ECP and carparts4less seem to suggest? I notice these are different lengths too.

Mmm my brake pad warning came on yesterday but now today the warning is off.

Looking at the ECP ebay page the sensor listed there as front left is also for right. It did seem odd to need different sensors for the other side.
