Are people still in Boohoo?

I see it's hit an all time high.

Yes i'm still in BOO, bought in at £1.92 so pretty good, should have bought more.

Not that it matters as i also bought Valrix at 5p around the same time...that's not so good.

Any targets or in for the very long run?

I'm just mindful that fashion can be rather fickle and profit's always good to take.

I think it tops out at £4.50 if forecasts keep getting beaten, that being said if it hits £4.00 i'll cash out and grab the profit.

Yep, i sat on a loss for 8 months and pulled out breaking even. I worry about fashion stocks for the aforementioned reasons

I've been thinking about shorting high street stores. That feels like a no brainer. I guess therefore if the high street is doomed then where do people go for their clothes - the internet. The problem with the internet is there is so much choice but if we believe that people can buy into the brand or image of one internet vendor then maybe they will bubble up above the others. Maybe because the internet has so much choice people need to zone in on one site in particular.

Very similar, bailed at a little over break even in April.

Anyone been in Petrel for the last 3 months?

Been a nice little earner?
Still decent was at .2 earlier today.
Sill doubled since i posted this a couple of months ago after a couple of wobbles.

Been a gooooood day in Clontarf as well, sold a few at about 70% profit but keep holding the rest. Could have been in and out twice at its present price in the last couple of months and made a few quid but heyho smile
Am I the only one in this or admitting to it ?
Been another very good day today smile

Anyone know why BP is in the doldrums - is it just the POO or something else?

I sold just under half my holding today. About £1.20 profit/share. I've seen a few of those -15% days on BOO from the sidelines so might limit my exposure to those events.

Yes, I got in at £1.77 With their 'Pretty Little Thing' and 'Nasty Gal' ranges they have the teen and twenties market pretty well covered. I bought once I saw they were advertising on TV.

Fashion is as fickle as one would expect. I've also got ASOS frown , Ted Baker frownfrown and Koovs frownfrownfrownfrownfrown

Fortunately AB Dynamics (ABDP) make up for them all despite today's drop. First two tranches bought at under 480p, now at 2550p. Seems like a good employer with a good product and a market hungry for their product (automotive test equipment).

Does anyone else here read Glassdoor to see what sort of an employer a company is before buying their shares?

Looked at this this morning
Seen a lot of rapid increase shares, falling again like stones. Was caught out by Jessops many years ago and vowed I wouldn't get caught again.
See today it jumped but slowly heading back again now,

On a different stock, why is PHE slowly dropping? On the face of it, it is a really good company for the future.

I think the market doesn't like waiting. So if you believe there is profit there and they can keep operating until they get into profit and you are fine with waiting then get buying.

Could be a good day on the markets tomorrow if we get a good Conservative majority.

I got out of half my BOO a few weeks ago at £3.10 before the directors offloaded £150M and it then fell. Money was reinvested into KAZ which has been working out so far. Only thing is I wish that I sold the lot of BOO.
