Still in PHE myself, 25% up at present overall. I've just not decided or set my exit point yet.

I thought PHE was a slow burner for years and years?

I have no idea whats happening with PHE. I bought 80,000 shares way back when someone suggested them on here after a brief read up. Now up 25 percent which is nice! Was down for ages but just left it.

Now just for zioc to pull itself together smile

Anyone looked into Innovaderma?

Ive just stumbled into them and they are trading at a 10 p/e and a forward p/e of 7.
With Circa 20% revenue growth over the last 4 years, and the same in profit growth.
Cash strong balance sheet.
Great profit margin.

Im a little confused by their most recent report though.
They set out their cash flow statement and then below they have a note saying that the parent company had no cashflow and therefore do not need to provide a cash flow statement.

What do they mean? I cant see any other references to a parent company either.

Any advice appreciated.

See here https://polaris.brighterir.com/public/innovaderma/...

Edit: They sell hairloss and premature ejaculation products, so if anyone on here has first hand experience... wink

Why does no one have a view on anything i mention? shoot

Well, i bought some. 616 shares at 63.8p.

Share price fell even further since i initially posted (11% down), despite releasing a very positive trading update with revenue up 28%.

https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/new...

It wouldnt surprise me if the SP fell further as there is clear downward momentum. But im not going to try to time the bottom.

Its cheap and thats what matters to me.

I had high hopes for them long term, but as they dropped and dropped I thought "here we go again" and dropped out......
They have been at 67 before mind you...

Agronomics (anic) are on the up again. I’ve jumped in today, I think there’s a good future.
Do these sort of investment funds / plays / baskets of xxx type companies make money. It feels more like a good thing to do rather than an investment to make money. Almost like a not for profit helping start up businesses in a specific field.
It’s probably a Jim Mellon or similar vehicle. Raise free money from retail punters who want exciting stories, point the cash at some ‘hot’ sector that will give lots of stories and then do lots of small, typically overseas, deals that suck out a lot of cash in fees, use someone like Agora to promote it all and the usual Nomads to keep raising money for fees and then eventually rename it and pointnit at the new ‘hot’ sector and start again. biggrin
Up again

I don't have a clue about that stock but looking at the chart i'd be very wary about getting in as i've seen these things drop back far too often and the retail punters getting burnt.

I am 60 percent up and considering selling out but for a measly few hundred pounds profit after a year i am going to stick it out until we hit 10p!

Please take this as a warning it will probably fall on its ass now I am staying in.

I’d be very cautious with this stock. A lot of churn and scope for manipulation by the market maker.

Up 60% and a 'measly few hundred pound'? Dare I say that your initial investment must have been rather 'measly'?

You should get the idea out of your head that you're going to make thousands from a small investment. In my opinion, you've done well and would do well to look elsewhere and compound but totally your call of course smile

I bought 77,000 shares for £400 as a gamble.

I enjoy it as a short break from work and have a few stocks that i dip in and out of and partake in inane aim share chat where we try to impossibly guess the direction of a stock either way. I don't have the time to dedicate to plowing thousands into hand picked shares so leave my annual isa contributions in funds.

So no, I wont get it out of my head that I am going to make thousands from a small investment..it's fun.

Good day

Closed BOO.L just now... Bit of a rollercoaster over the last 3yrs but 68% up and a solid 4-fig profit.. pays some of January's tax bill!

I genuinely think it has legs but it always seems to pull back shortly after results and, well, I could do with the cash!
