Brexit.. biggest risk is to GBP than global economy IMO and if GBP tanks you'll find stocks that much more expensive.

Basically they have passed with flying colours by the look of it an independent feasibility study by a technology testing house DNV GL. This paves the way for full commercial roll out around the world. Potentially a game changer with regard to plastic and rubber waste being converted to energy at the location it’s required.

It’s under company announcements here: https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-search-results/...

A small step on the way to being a FTSE company

Holding PHE. Near Break even now with good news on the horizon.
Hindsight and all that on wishing we'd all topped up/averaged down.

3-6 years. Until they get the infrastructure in place to actually start mining or port gets well under way. Based on resources I am hoping for a £1.80 share price down the line. Even if they start a small scale operation I am hoping to see this. We will see..dyor etc.

Yes, it could also just as easily become zero if it's anything like some shares I've been in. laugh

Given it's an AIM miner I know which outcome my money would be on!

Haha exactly. To be honest I wouldn't be putting 10k in.I have a few grand in but as others have said nothing is guaranteed it could just as well go to 0. Only thing with ZIOC is that its a proven resource.

Likely with my investment history it will tank laugh

AIM is like going into a casino and betting on black or red. AIM mining shares are like going into a casino and betting on the zero.

Even the proven resource thing doesn't mean as much as you'd hope - look at the Falkland oil companies. RKH.L for instance.

Anyone in Berkeley Energia? Took a right kicking today...

It was mentioned here a while back, and something that I planned to do some more research on. Very glad I didn't have the time now!

Powerhouse Energy

The CEO has just exercised his option on 16.6M shares and has commiytted to hold them for 18 months. His total holding is now over 18m shares apparently over 1% of the company. With the recent announcements of commercialisation of their system and passing of independent feasibility tests is this a signal. I notice historically they were once 16p a return to those levels of 7 years ago would be a 32 fold increase from the current 0.5p price.

ohh and up 11% today

If i post a company i am thinking of making my first share investment in (stuck £200 in a fund earlier this month, but thats it), would anyone be able to tell me whether i have considered the metrics properly? Or is that frowned against on here?

Its a company that i looked at ages ago when i first looking into S and S as the price tanked one day, but the price just kept going down but i cant work out why, seems good value to me.

This would be a long term investment.

Let me know and i will drop the name.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, we all want to find that gem of a company that is drastically undervalued by the market, post it already.

Drop the name - no one on here will move the market. However remember it is best not to try and catch a falling knife. Better to wait until it has turned. You lose a bit of profit, but much safer in case it keeps falling.
