Currently typing this with a gurgling three-and-a-half-month-old balancing on my lap!
Please ignore my comment about allocating any days you didn't wish to attend.
The tickets are per person for the whole weekend with access to the paddock on the Saturday but the full hospitality, pit lane and grid tours on the Sunday.
They cannot therefore be split over the two days. Obviously no one has to attend both days though, we just cannot recycle unused days.
If you were thinking of just attending one day, make sure it is the Sunday though!

I assume they are not necessarily fixed names?
Eg...the 4 of us will all be at Donington for the Fathers Day Sunday, but the other 3 are not necessarily so keen to attend both - could I bring 3 other pals to the Saturday?
