Amazon Credit card

A month or so ago i ordered something from Amazon costing 30.00
There was an add to get an Amazon credit card and if i did the item would only cost me one penny.
however i did order the card, and rightly was charged 30.00, because i didnt have the card to had

Card has now arrived but there is no notification that i have 29.99 'credit'

So what would happen if i ordered something costing 34.99?

Would i just pay 5.00 or the full 34.99?

I cannot see anything on the website, nor a 'contact with a specific question' option

Anyone out there gone this route? .

the amazon reward card when you spend enough adds £10 to the linked amazon account
maybe it has added the extra there ?
