I got mine yesterday, happy they have hung around the 136p mark today. Sold out of AMGO at +16%, DLAR, EQT, TILS and still blue for me.

COST is down an unhealthy amount, better hold them as I do work for them and hope they get back in blue.

ARS is down a bit, VAST less so overall.

Got £1k to “invest/gamble”, depending on RNS tomorrow.

Will keep an eye on AMGO, the rampers on LSE would have you believe a TO is imminent again, if it does go crazy then I may think about it.

Do we think Halfords will go any lower?
you work for cost?! any pointers why the price is dropping? would have thought with all the talk of infrastructure they would do well. can you go have a quiet chat with the FD in the canteen..
The FD is probably as bewildered as you and everyone else why share prices keep falling even in companies not heavily impacted by CV.

A few years back Costain were interested in buying my company .... but then said they couldn't afford us when told the asking price, so I sold to someone else. Naturally if they had bought my business their sp wouldn't be in the sorry state it is now ;-)

BAB

In the absence of not being able to vent to anyone about BABs appalling sp dive I thought I'd see who I can whinge at directly in the company, extract from their investor contact page below.

Firstly it seems I have to PAY them to call them as a shareholder. wtf really??!! Maybe I'm a tad naive but I was expecting a dedicated 24/7 hotline to the FD and Director for investor relations.

Secondly I know someone here struggles with no spaces after a comma. But BAB can't be bothered inserting spaces between words. Is this the next iteration of text speech, minimalise everything and ditch all spaces?

(Note to self: Triple the blood pressure medication tonight).

That’s pretty poor! I had to go via them (Links) when I was doing something with Revs, they were awful - bad website, slow turn around, not confidence inspiring.. hadn’t noticed the 0870!

I hadn’t looked at Bab for a while and as I hadn’t seen a fk Babcock for a while, I just assumed they were doing ok...

Today looks like their lowest sp for well over 5 years - didn’t look beyond 5...

All together now.... fk You Babcock! Think I’m in at 300 as part of the Babcock Survivor Group..

just call using the 'calling from abroad option' - but you are depriving them of much needed profit by doing that .... biggrin

I tried it by spreadbetting couple of months back.

It didn’t really work.
as in the SP went up? or were there other factors that stoppped it being a good trade?
Well I had read a bit on spread betting so went in cautiously. Overall I it was 50/50 with winners losers. I only put £1k in to experiment with, twice they closed my trades because the margin had gone negative and I didn’t have time to top it up.
You defo need more margin than the sum you are looking to trade.
Back in the day, I would get a call (or multiple) from IG Index, they would leave messages and youd get time to put some more margin in before they closed positions. This is often a good time to close out yourself or plead ignorance and they will do it for you. I guess it is a lot more automated now....

Don't give up. By limiting yourself to only buying, you are one side of a price move. But, as you have seen, there is a capital requirement that you have to be able to access if need be.

Oi I still hold them !!!

Good luck, someone may as well make some money out of them.
It was slightly tongue in cheek, but I may do my day trade in reverse and short, they owe me £2k the useless bds smile

EQT up 5.5% today. Earlier were up 10%. Their results came out today, broadly positive, lots of positives in the write up. Might have been a 20% rise on another day. Had a look at 12 months ago - share price was just 00008p, it touched 0.0060 earlier 7.5 bagged in a year! Broker target now 0.0218 that’s a 4 bagger from here. If some of their quotes turn to reality this could fly.

Ceres Power up 5.5% too

Edited by elanfan on Monday 15th June 17:20
I have just the 60.7k shares in EQT, would be more than happy with 0.0218! May top up if SP continues trend.
What's the score with EQT? Based on a quick look at the results, they look like they are running out of money - I suspect a fund raise in the next few week at the latest.
And there it is... 33% discount. Ouch!

I was waiting for that, was only looking at it two days ago thinking I should sell.

CERES RNS looked positive this morning.

frown

I've not had a proper read through the RNS to see their reasons for the raise but a chunky discount like that suggests it won't be the easiest sell.

I've taken my stake back out of BOO now after it rising 30% on my buy price. In at 209, out at 273.

Will just keep the free shares for a bit and see how it goes. Not a bad result from 2pm yesterday to 8:30am today!

Its still rising...

BOO - YES for once I was right. Funny how the doom merchants on LSE have gone very quiet.

Couldn't get a order to process so didn't top up until at 264.

Now showing a profit and wondering when to sell. Thinking this could be 350p by end of the week or back to 400p even? Likely to drop off a bit today as some take profits???

No idea.
