Hi,

I’ve been through the usual comparison sites, are there many banks / bs who do not use comparison sites for mortgages?

Got an AIP from Chelsea, just wondering if there are others with lower monthly payments.

£160k deposit
£350k purchase (upto)
No other debts.
15 year, min 5yr fixed. Prefer lower upfront fees. I’m aware to check early redemption % etc.

Obvious point, perhaps, but are you looking for lowest monthly payments or lowest interest rate? Pushing the term beyond 15 years (unless you are limited by age) would achieve the former but not the latter. As would going interest only.
