5 of those down 10-20% today alone, they have actually fallen so low it is probably daft to sell, but I said that yesterday
Just topped up on ABML at around $2.05 - averaging £2.57 now. Better be some news Monday.

It's been a massacre today. I'm about 30% down overall, although my "portfolio" barely qualifies as such. The only thing in the green is Argo Blockchain. And, ironically, GME!

Bleak day across the board in the US.

I feel your best to just ride these bad days out instead of panic selling. Look at the gains US stocks had on Monday. It can all change day to day and if you believe in your holdings then best to sit tight.

Gamestop - one of the only stocks which is up today. Seems like it's a safer bet than about 95% of Nasdaq stocks.

Feels like a panic sell and a general move from growth to value. My happy self says this is a needed correction and the bottom has been hit and it will shake out the rubbish and the decent quality companies will rise again.

My sad self is sitting in the corner, clutching my knees and gently rocking

P/F down I suspect today, haven't looked.
Biggest loss was our Springer Spaniel, one week short of her 12th Birthday. Still chasing tennis balls two days ago.
Brings everything into correct focus.
RIP Daisy.

It's been an odd few weeks. I feel oddly compelled to buy.

Sorry to hear of your loss - as you say, such things bring perspective.

Cherish your memories.

Poor Daisy. Can't beat the loyalty of a good dog.

We lost Max, our GSD last summer and I still have the odd cry. What Max and Daisy would have wanted was for us to double down and beat the MMs at their silly games. That’s what i tell myself anyway, so i’ll probably lump on a few low prices tomorrow morning, it’s a gamble after all.

I think you've put your finger on it. In my pf I have some stocks chosen for good fundamentals as lth, a few for trading and a few gambles. Each requires a different approach and strategy. I'm confusing them and taking an inconsistent approach. I'm aiming to segregate them in different accounts to make it easier for me to manage them differently and have a clear strategy for each. Right now its just confused which is affecting the gains I could be making.
This is exactly where I'm at, lose focus on what I've got for LTH and dip into it to fund 'opportunities' but then don't replace it and the whole diversification goes off kilter. Opened an IG account to put my long term stuff into, keeping the riskier and trading plays in 212, takes a while to move it all over so doing it on up days when I can take some profit and hopefully buy back on the other side without missing out too much and bearing in mind the CGT and 0.5 stamp

So what are thinking, ftse gets stwhipped today after yesterday's US pummelling? Any likely bargains to be had?

Might turn off the P/F today. My moderate gains yesterday were wiped out by fund losses when the valuations came through.

Condolences Skyedriver! My (9 this year) lab slept with me last night while my missus was in the spare room - slept like a baby, both of us! Me and the dog that is! She's slowed down a lot with age and it makes me worry but, no matter what happens in the future, they know we give 'em the best life and they return it in loyalty and memories!

Keeping my eye on AMGO today. RNS this morning with what likes like JPM selling CFDs and buying shares. Sounds like they're covering another side of a trade?

Re: AMGO, JPM have reduced their holding a touch, shows the underlying client(s) trimmed their position on 02 Mar (Tues) when the price was in the 19 range. What's encouraging is the position was only trimmed and not cut, shows some sentiment in the stock.
