Cool nationwide offering 2.1% on savers. Only losing 6% a year the. Better than my losses this year.

Had a quick peak and just saw oceans of red.

NatWest have let me know they're now paying on their savings account 0.3% up to £10K and 0.1% over £10K.

I've done slightly better than that by buying shares in the company. Assuming my gains don't ebb away of course.

You lose some / You lose some more... A lose/lose situation, the way of the world at the moment. Oh for the CV19 world of 2019/2020 when shooting fish in a barrel became the order of the day.

2.1% is usefull for the rainy day cash fund though. End to keep a little aside incase the car goes pop or you lose your job etc.
Where are you seeing the savings account and is it instant access? Best i can see are fixed term rates and deals.

It was an email they sent me. Can’t remember exact details. Think it was fixed for 2 years or something. ISA rate wasn’t as high. 1.1% I think.

Hope no one is in Luna!!! Crypto always scares me.

was ARVL as SPAC that bought it out in Nov 2020?

Looking at SP it seems so, which makes $30 a hyped post-SPAC number.
Hype aside, at it's current price the SP looks undervalued to me.
Up 16% today.

Can buy whenever, as long as the fund doesn’t hold, I just have to hold for 30 days before selling.

Stops day trading which is sensible.

And the fund doesn’t hold the crap I buy hehe

I was looking through some of the tech bargains yesterday. I noticed Fastly which had been trading well over $100 was around $10. Trade Desk under $50.

We're definitely not out of the woods. Only thing I had conviction in throwing at money this week was AMD and some crypto.

Coinbase is +23%. Even the hated Robinhood is up based on FTX buying a stake in them.

I’m on the sidelines today watching my gold erode.

Think I’ll take a fresh short on spx and qqq next week after this mini run up.

You shoulda.... smile

Went in for my third batch this week. I think it could be a goody.

And just found out Kia and Hyundai got involved for a £100m a little while back.

Plus there's143,000 backorders and think I read somewhere the busses are £500k a pop. Though that sounds quite a lot to me... But whatevs.

The orders aren't binding at this point so it will be interesting to see how well they convert to solid deliveries. Having said that they are closer to production than I thought so it will be very interesting to see how it progresses over the next year.

Price-wise it's much more realistic than when they listed, I kinda regret not shorting but feared it getting wrapped up in hype..
