LSE board going crazy as expected: https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=EU...

Boom or bust it seems! Possible sale news?

Hmm, not sure what to make of EUA but it smells bad to me.

I have a couple of shares suspended at the moment to complete deals and in both cases the AIM notice said that it was "at the request of the company", and there was announcement from the company to match.

My money is on bad news for EUA, short of there being a major leak on the sale why else would they suspend trading?

How long have those other companies been suspended for?

I was having a pretty good morning til I logged in here, my balls have now shrunk to micro peanut size hehe

Hope no one is in too heavy here but I wouldn’t want to be in it with current events.

My Mrs hedge fund she works for pulled out of anything Russian as soon as they went in. All the algorithms were saying to buy but they didn’t overrode them.

I was eaves dropping a call last week and they lost 15-20% on that but it wouldn’t have been 50%+ if they hadn’t.

With Russia and recession as well this year is messy.

Good luck!!!

The longer one is at about 11 months now. It's a fairly complicated related party reverse takeover so I guess that's not unexpected.

Both cases are reverse takeovers though and there was no sign of it ahead of tome unlike EUA who are going for a sale of assets and have been talking about it openly for a long while. I'm not seeing many scenarios where this is a good thing for shareholders.

Thank you, yes I agree it can't be good. Fingers crossed all. Relatively heavy here, but it's gamble money I was prepared to lose. It will sting like hell though.

Not sure of rules about what justifies a suspension, last time for EUA it was clarifying the relationship with a Chinese investment bank.

If I try to look at this in a positive light (whilst simultaneously stting myself) - think they have £30m in cash, WK is producing revenue, board are hugely invested. So it can survive, and cannot see the board throwing in the towel unless forced to. And I have not heard of assets being seized by the government.

So my thinking is its either a sale/JV or abandonment of the sale process.

Cacking myself, as its my largest holding (although 70% down now)

I'd feel more positive about EUA if we'd seen a sharp rise in SP into close Friday pm frown

Think this sums up my situation perfectly. We went through the point of no return a long time ago. It was always boom or bust from them on.

I agree with you Adam. EUA by far my biggest holding. Worst case is sale has fallen through imo. That means they’d carry on mining themselves and pay day is spread over a long period of time. They can still sell their output to China etc who no doubt will sell it on … and on and on … til the west get it.

Doomsday scenario would be putin has privatised all uk shares and companies etc but I’ve not heard of anything like that so suspension can’t be related to anything like that … I hope.

Personally I am just pleased to hear some news after a lack of it and some idea of their plan, whatever that may be, is far better than the current cluelessness we have.

So in summary it’s a good thing imo…. But I could be wrong!!!

Thanks SD. Not jumped off Beachy Head just yet, actually I’ve been to a far darker place … NPE on this forum… best avoided.

I’m over exposed and down on many of my share investments right now so don’t want to get tempted by the next south sea bubble / get rich quick scheme on here just yet :-)

Quick lets all sell our shares in EUA and buy in... oh wait laugh

Ive been done with aim stuff for a while, monthly additions to my isa are now for less gamble type stocks. What I have I will leave but most of the gamble stuff EUA, GGP Kodal, Zinwald , Haydale graphine (remember the graphine hype) and alba minerals are all down or barely break even.
