The last COP meeting all the green stocks rose 30-70% in a month. Nothing was done I agree but there was money to be made.
You sure? My memory ain't what it used to be but I can't recall much increase and everything I hold in these companies is no better and generally worse than pre COP26

Can't see any obvious reason, pump & dump? FOMO?

I'm looking at my BOO stock - makes me want to cry....one of those I keep expecting a turn around - "it cannot go any lower" but then it does. Contemplating abandoning it along with my alternative energy stuff (all loss making) and buying BP....

A P & D would normally see lots of activity on LSE & ADVFN.

I still like the look of EQT, despite the SP being where it is.

I probably also need to cull some stocks, BOO included.

Interesting as I was looking at (re) getting into BOO. Massive drop and wondering if they will see increased demand from higher end online clothing retailers as the recession cuts deeper.

Speaking of P&D
decent rise yesterday in SNG, followed by a similar fall back today......

Yeah I went amd had a look. Blnk Rose up 60% in the run up to it. Dnphase did as well so did the etf inrg as well as others that did more. Of course they fell back down again but that's not the point. It's a future opportunity imo.

Is anyone still in DDDD?

I doubled down at 25p last week after buying in at over £1 previously.

Just dropped more today though after a presentation. I gather from Lse forum it looks like they are going to dilute.

OK oil prices have dropped a little over the last couple of days (no sign of it at the local filling station) but i'm looking ar my "alternative energy" stocks CWR, EQT, PHE and all seriously under the weather. No one care about the environment and the future? It would seem not. OK they are all a long way from serious production but SP prices look towards the future not the past or present, right?
The next COP meeting everyone will pretend to care again. Ive set aside a chunk of cash ready for that.
I am big in oil stocks due to my belief that it will take decades to break the dependence on oil and in the interim there will be less and less supply. ESG is a bit of a luxury we can’t afford for now.
Looking for other anti-woke opportunities to go big on next.

Yep, I think the future's bright for ARVL. And great news today too. All set for production in Q3.

I think there will be an oil dependence for a long time too. Ignoring the possibility of a radically better source of power becoming available - like fusion or significantly better battery storage - the segment seems like a good hold.

I think the oilers do need to do more about pivoting themselves into "energy" companies over the coming years - which BP does seem to be doing.

Possibly they're a bit like tobacco companies were in the late 70s early 80s.

I'm not sure how undervalued they are, but AAF have paid decent dividends over the time I've held them - & they're FTSE 100 now too. Ex. dividend date is a few days away. Normally the dividends are paid in USD.

The gas tax holiday ? That's not enough to restart the share madness of the recent past.

Difficult to make any statements on relative value at present but I use this for reference:
