Some interesting developments at ZNWD (Zinnwald) after close of business today, culminating in a primary bid off at 25% premium to today's stock price.

https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/ZNWD/zin...

I think that's the first time I've seen a PB offer higher than the prevailing share price.

I'm lost with that?

Trying to think back on bcn when they issued to an investor it was after a big price rise and took the average from before then. Seeing as zin has had a pop not long ago and trailed downwards ever since does that give a higher average price for doing a share raise? I really have no idea tbh.

Helps me abit at least I added a few a month ago or so to average down a bit.

Looks like there wasn't much appetite to pay the higher price.

A further total of 24.5 million Placing Shares have been placed at the Placing Price with institutional and professional investors by Oberon Capital and Tamesis Partners, at the Placing Price.

In conjunction with the Placing, retail and other investors participating in the Retail Offer have subscribed for approximately 2.3 million New Ordinary Shares at the Placing Price pursuant to the Retail O?er made by the Company via the PrimaryBid platform.
£18.75m though, not a small amount and significantly more than the £14m mentioned yesterday.

Would appear that the Mexicans are no longer dancing on their hats.
Sorry to hear the news for anyone still in there.

Not sure if there's any hope left.

Good RNS for EQT this morning, slight up tick but nothing like enough to cover the earlier duff RNS

Also how are the nat gassers doing? Obviously doennbut quite happy at that as I didn't buy as much as I wanted. For me it's a hold until next winter and see what the price is then.
I’m still up but I lost a chunk of my profit.

I sold out in end of December at profit but then when the arse fell out of it further, I was lured back in with a smaller position.

Except the arse continued to fall out of it so I cut it off at a loss on the new position.

I bought back in (again) when I thought it had really bottomed 21st Feb and sold out of a bounce on 27th.

I’ve left a small bit in there that’s just profit (Shed money) as the price is no so low it’s effectively a penny share come next winter… fingers crossed.

I also bought some oil on Tuesday in case it has bottomed.

What in god's name has Saun Day done to the ggp sp?
When even dogs like amur +57% and Vast +150 % up ytd,how has he let this tier 1 safe jurisdiction, monster drop down to 6p?
For a while now I've though the recent Aussie big shot who was let in at the 8,p range is after Havieron 100% now with the ncm/new takeover possibility, looks like ggp going the way of hgm,BCN etc?

Taken a smallish punt on Virgin Orbit this evening.

Quite a decent chance I lose the lot.

I reckon it's the Forrest connection who's looking to get Hav/Telfer specially since his iron ore business is loosing out more so once the Chinese Guineas mine and port ramp up?

Newmont. It was speculated that this would be good for GGP as Newcrest would want to emphasise the value of their asset. Obviously the GGP share price has decreased since then.

Took a gamble on TUI months ago, saw a small increase, but then the past month or two they have decided to go bonkers, first with a reverse stock split and then now with a hugely discounted share program. All this has resulted in me now being 62% down, which is a real kick in the teeth! Balance sheets look strong which allays any worries of a Thomas Cook scenario, but dont want to see the good money keep going bad.
