Finger crossed.

I see the half yearly for BAE (BA.) are solid even more so when exchange rate corrected. Hopefully my new TVR pot will pick up again!
I obvious know nothing about what a good blue chip business is, despite this good half yearly report everything up including the divi and a recent extensive positive piece by UBS the shares went down and has been for a little while.
Not sure what the city is looking for, outside of an easy fast buck, anyone like a stab at explaining it to me, I did get an O Level in economics at school in the 70's!
ikwym but BA have some underlying staff issues and infrastructure issues to resolve.. So it might be that this is the calm before the storm or that they were hoping for more profit to shore up against future costs and outlays.

SOLO & AMC had a bit of a tick up lately but i'm sure it'll drop back a lot once it goes up a bit and i'll end up kicking myself hehe

I've been thinking about picking up some RIO, they pay a nice divi and had good results. I already have mining exposure and BHP have been on my radar a long time.

Tesco have been very quietly grinding up a few pennies each day.

UKOG seems to be a lot more steady at the moment, still holding strong.

PREM and AST also good today.

My Aston fund is building nicely.

Apple at an all time high market cap around $830Billion.

How long till it reaches a cool trillion? A trillion!

Their story from the late nineties has been spectacular.

Every time I think about getting in, then don't because I keep thinking it can't go higher, it bites me hehe

Well, I don't think I'd want to start from here either!! I've been in with the ups and downs since mid-2011, so up 277% (theoretical) thank you - plus steady small dividend stream now. I'll be hanging in there a few more years!

For the patient ones still.in Mtfb, RNS today marking the end of treatment for the last patient in the 2nd clinical trial, read out data should be compiled in another month or two. Fingers crossed, should be plain sailing to NDA from here.

I have no idea, I thought we would be above 50p by now.

It could be a long wait until this time next year until full value is realised from the current work, I'd hope over £1 on full NDA approval, then the companies profit and revenue really rely more on the market and commercial plan than the science, so sky maybe the limit. But what do I know?

OK, pretty much my take on it, only have small chunk at 28p and was wondering whether to build up or not and how long I could expect it to tied up for.

OT now;
Anyone have thoughts on KEFI? have small chunk of them too..................

Anyone in AMC? I'm asking myself if it gets anywhere near recent highs is it best to take the money and run. Last time it got absolutely trashed after moving up. Can always get out and then possibly buy back in lower.

Alternatively, I could take more risk and hold and end up making a lot out of them. I would consider myself more a medium to long term investor these days.

I'm thinking G4S is cheap at the moment, thinking of getting back into BOO now and possibly SXX again.
Poor Mtfb have had no luck timing the market with their announcements, good to see that they've held ground over the last few days against an AIM index down almost 5%. If we are facing Armageddon we may need good antibiotics!
