I 'invested' £5k three months ago ... nothing yet.

I had maybe £10k in PB quite a few years ago and they seemed to do alright.

Has anybody every heard of anybody actually winning a big pot? I certainly haven't.
Most I've ever won was £300 I can't believe 2 people every month become millionaires off PB's. That must be a shock nobody expects more than the odd £25.
And (I've mentioned it on here before) but I'm pretty sure someone, after all these years, would know a PB Millionaire. Most I've heard of personally is a £10,000 win... I think I've heard mention on here of people knowing a £25K winner.

I know one person who has won £10k and £5k, but i don't know anyone else who has won a figure worth talking about.

Few on here have done ok. Someone must win them.
It's just I'm surprised i've never heard of anyone in any of my networks that have won anything more than a £500 prize.

It only completely fits with the second one, but I read an article a few years ago about someone who used to go around to the big winners and they said the vast majority were already wealthy and had the max amount invested.

It's true though, I also don't know anyone who has admitted to winning a decent amount. I suppose it's a different level of winnings but I'm aware of four people who have won chunky amounts on the lottery - one of those was a million on a scratch-card.

My wife won a grand.

Apparently a FA I met had won big, think he said £100k. Claimed to know a guy that win £1m off an investment he'd made after winning the lottery.

Pinch of salt required, but that was his story.

No worries. At least we're narrowing down the search as to who it was smile

Crikey that's rubbish. How have they done over the year though. I'm now on 1% which is pretty bad but just about worth the chance of scoring big, maybe.
Would be great to see a big win on PH (preferably me). Mines only in for another year before the next home move, really hoping for a few more wins.

Just worked it out and I'm at 1.11%

Not exactly great - but I still enjoy the 'what if'... and I'm too risk averse to do anything else.
