Have you sorted this one yet ? i

f you haven't I have the same doors and had the same issues.

You have to reset the doors an get them to relearn the parameters, in my case it was nothing to do with mechanisms, fit warming etc but it always got 1ft from the bottom and pinged up !!

I will dig out the instructions if you need them

I’ve just got back from a bike ride and had the same issue with my Hormann door. Just stopping at rewinding a bit about a third of the way down. I ended up disconnecting it from the mechanism to get it shut/secure.

Need to work out how to fix it over the weekend.

Mine did a similar thing - when I opened up the control box it was indicating that it was detecting an obstruction due to overcurrent.
.I needed a new motor to solve it, I think the brushes were worn out?

I don't have a horman but a horman style door , mine throws a wobbly if there is too much stuff or me near the door due to the safety laser .

One of my flashing bike lights used to make it stop, turning it off stopped the issue weird!

I had just got back from a bike ride with flashing lights, although I had done the same a few hours earlier and it worked fine.

I think there may be something strange going on with the electrics, I've just had to pop home as the house alarm was going off.

Try relearning, unplug, hold you the button down, plug it back in then release the button after about 5 seconds. Door should open and close a number of times and relearn its limits.

When mine did it, I found part of the trim on the upright had come slightly adrift and the door touched it as it closed. I was surprised how sensitive it was.

Just to tidy this up: I ran the learning program, the door closed fine on each of the open/closes. Then it was back to stopping at the same place. I then got it to close by giving it a gentle push at the key moment. The manual said something about adjusting potentiometers to incase the force, but I would have needed to move my car to get the cover off the motor. I went to shut the door to secure the garage before going back to the house to get my keys and it worked!

Hopefully it will continue to work, if not at least I know what to do next time.

or it's slipped on the rubber belt. pull the motor off, door down then refit.
