Having a next door neighbour with tractors and landrovers has it's advantages. It certainly would offend me less than being wedged between the A31 Hogs Back & A3 Guildford Bypass

Seaside art deco/George Clarke special? Round the corner from me this, love the sea views, not sure about the house.

fk me that's hideous hurl As convincing as a mock tudor wimpey house.

Er yeah, I really like that kind of art deco thing but could you fuse it with one of those cliche cedar clad projecting open plan extension things please? But obviously angle the cladding like they, er did, er, back in 1920s; I really like that juxtaposition against the curved Miami deco aesthetic. In Sussex. Actually whilst you're at it, drop in a few modernist pieces of furniture, but be sure not to down play the footballer tat.

Sea (and bench) view lovely.

I think you're being a bit harsh there. The design is a little bit clumsy in places, but it's great location and a good use of space. The houses along there are a right old mixed bag, of which that one is certainly one of the best.

After that little mess in Sussex I was tempted to have a look on rightmove. Low and behold my actual dream, lottery winner house has come to the market and it's only £1.8m - I'm not greedy smile

Needs a sympathetically updating but it is its situation and land as much as the house itself. The views over Richmond, Easby Abbey, the castle and the Swale from up there would be stunning. Entrance to drive a bit dicy, but a small price to pay.

This could be a fun/ruinous project. 5,500sqft ex-school in E Sussex for £900K.

Love the property, but as others have said, if I were to leave London, it would need to be more rural with more land and garaging.

Lovely house though (late Victorian/early Edwardian is my favourite - still have the proportions of older houses, but a bit more ornate as they were veering towards Arts & Crafts influences), and if it isn't listed, given costs of my recent total renovation of a 3000 square foot house, I know I could have that done to a very high standard for 300k if it has no hidden major problems.

Looks o.k to me, when you spend this sort of money you get a designer for your own tastes, but for me far from hideous, actually looks a nice house and place to live.

Yeah, but £2.7m? Blimey.

Bigger plot, less 'designer' house, a couple of hundred yards away, same money.

That house is absolutely disgusting.
You literally couldn't find me a less tasteful way to waste £3 million quid.

I like it, but there is something about the furniture that's saying 70s American cop show.

And not sure about the round bathroom.

Personally, I think they both are. My point really was how stupid the prices are.

nice place to live needs some work i think, feels a bit sterile. roof terrace would be a start, add some character as well.

On a positive note it's a nice plot - you could demolish and build something decent!
