Hi, thanks for your reply. So what I've done is not right and won't work? nothing has blown and all lights are on, hive/receiver/hub all in sync ok.

I seem to need my old RF stat on for the hive to work. I think its currently overriding the hive. Any ideas how I remove it? thanks.
It will work fine as long as the boiler is switched on, generally its better to feed it from the permanent live and neutral so if the boiler is switched off it doesn't upset the Hive.

Similar issue, I want to hook up a Hive Thermostat.

I've an ideal logic heat H18 boiler, current timer controller has 4 wires:

and this is how current controller looks:

Hive looks to require 5 wires in:

Am I missing a wire?

No, you don’t need the hot water off as you have an s-plan

Thanks for reply and the help!

So am I right in saying, from the wiring on my current controller, the L & N will transfer directly to the Hive's L & N and the old (1) black wire will be the Common on the hive and old (2) will go to the Hive's Heating ON?
