There have been a lot of WTF moments in this thread, but that's possibly the WTFiest of them all.
The entire pool room, looks like a converted dining room and how big is the pool really without the agents fish-eye lens? Probably replaced a snooker table but they've moved up in the world since.

Assuming it’s a heated pool I can’t see that sofa lasting long!

From a quick glance it doesn't appear too bad but then you realise it's been built in the garden of a council house in the worst part of Otley.

I can’t help but feel that bifolds are becoming less and less popular

I actually really like the house itself! £150 worth of Wilko paint and different furniture and it'll be lovely.

Good. They're rarely the best option.

I'm guessing that this was designed by the owner occupier. PH marks for five garages and I quite like the menagerie wallpaper in the playroom.

My friend's mum used to be the cleaner there. It's a bit of a local landmark with the turret & sometimes used as a filming location. Apparently Roger Moore used to live there, a quick Google confirms he briefly did in the 1960's.

The photo in the article is 10x more appealing than anything the agent's have used. Makes the design look almost understandable.

Still not obvious why you want to build an upside-down replica of an ancient Dordogne farmhouse surrounded by block driveway, on the outskirts of Wetherby but hey ho.

Wonder what the materials cost is in a house like that, sub 50k I'd imagine.

I read quite a few posts on PH and imagine an internet line direct to somewhere like that from the poster.

I posted this on this thread previously, probably a couple of years ago.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

It’s changed agents and had a price drop of circa £100k (IIRC) but the horrific interior decor remains.
