The street view of Leigh Road reveals that place has some competition for the most "interesting" looking property on the road. If anyone can tell me what the actual f is going on at 'Broad Terraces' just a bit south of the house under discussion, I'd love to hear it.

Exterior would immediately look 10x better if you whitewashed over most of the the bricks picked out in gold and repainted the rest of the gold with a muted terracotta. Then it would look horribly out of place vs just horrible.

I’ve viewed several G2 with conservatories, granted most of them refer to them as ‘orangeries’

You don't get much for your money, no grounds at all on a street full of houses with large plots.

Some "interesting" choices of carpets and interior decor in this one.

Who has carpet in the kitchen and the bathroom?

It's also not exactly bargain priced.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but looks like a quality carpet in pretty good order. I'd certainly not be changing it yet.

It looked plastic. A plastic conservatory on a G II listed place seems madness.
That's not the worst thing about this place, though.

And surprisingly tiny inside - it's an inverse Tardis.

I’d say it’s timber; the frame and glazing bars look too narrow for uPVC. Either way, we can agree it’s hideous.

The agent got full use of his fish eye lens there.
Some may feel it is rather over-generously decorated, but I’m sure it will make a fashionable young couple very happy.

Wow. I really like the modern decor, although they like.a big telly. even the electic storage heater next to the front door looks like a Telly.

looking at the pictures, all 41 of them for a 3 bed terrace, in the Valleys, its proper "Stella"

I started to get concerned when I saw the pictures of the back yard....then looked at street view, with some uncertainty, and then finally I looked at the price it last changed hands at.

Now I'm thinking there's a ceiling for prices in any area, and unfortunately they've attempted to smash it's back doors in..
I'm seeing a £75k house, with £10k of improvements and decoration. At the end of the day, there's only a small shower room and its downstairs...
For comparison.

I don't know the area (daughter was a student.in Cardiff, and I've been walking in.the hills not far from there) but if you search up to 5 miles from there, there are better investments.

But young people can be wooed by bling.
Luckily when they see the garden they'll realise someone polished a turd

pretentious (adjective):
attempting to impress by affecting greater importance or merit than is actually possessed.

Rarely seen a better example of the word.
