Accoding to google translate:

nid oedd y turd yn sgleinio, dim ond ei rolio mewn glitter

Is this an appropriate amount of enormous televisions for a 3 bed terrace?

I think the worst thing about that is the (lacking) grammar skills of whoever wrote that description. Sheesh.

Could you choose more claustrophobia inducing wall tiles for the stairway?

I started to get concerned when I saw the pictures of the back yard....then looked at street view, with some uncertainty, and then finally I looked at the price it last changed hands at.

Now I'm thinking there's a ceiling for prices in any area, and unfortunately they've attempted to smash it's back doors in..
I'm seeing a £75k house, with £10k of improvements and decoration. At the end of the day, there's only a small shower room and its downstairs...
Is that not a council house bought under right to buy, being resold at market-ish value? (I have no idea, it's just what I always wonder when I see such a quick big hike in price)

Also why do people put in new kitchens and not get built in appliances (utility room is different IMO), it looks so much nicer with them in rather than on display!

Other properties in the area are up for between 35k (by auction so prob low to get interest) to 90k

They've done a decent job with the finish by the looks of things, and obviously take a lot of pride in their house.

Some nice views over the backs too by the looks of things

But how on earth do you get comfortable in that sort of house & actually live? - be it a £125k terrace or a £2.5m mansion - where do I just slob out in my pants?!

It doesn't get any better when you look at the "similar properties" link and see another house marketed by the same company for £114k. Goes on about how she's married to a guy from there etc. Mad as a box of frogs.

I really appreciate imaginative design. For instance; I like the way the ladder for the kid's bunk bed doubles as the loft ladder.

And the way they've repurposed a Hilton Hotels bath towel as a doormat.

You don't get much for your money, no grounds at all on a street full of houses with large plots.
You get no grounds because it was built as a lodge for a larger house over 100yrs ago.

Regardless, I bet a young couple snap that up the moment they hear the words 5% government backed mortgages. It'll have its own hashtag for instagram within 3 months.

The street view of Leigh Road reveals that place has some competition for the most "interesting" looking property on the road. If anyone can tell me what the actual f is going on at 'Broad Terraces' just a bit south of the house under discussion, I'd love to hear it.
Legh Road is well known for houses by Richard Harding-Watt. They were built about 130yrs ago. Quite a few have been pulled down and some awful footballers places put up.

I'm a bit defensive because that's where I'm from. They really are interesting and a big tonic to modern stuff. I'm surprised they've been viewed as nightmares. But I can see why they're not what everyone would want.

Just having a street view wander and noticed this pair. Very nice indeed.

Wow. I really like the modern decor, although they like.a big telly. even the electic storage heater next to the front door looks like a Telly.

looking at the pictures, all 41 of them for a 3 bed terrace, in the Valleys, its proper "Stella"

I started to get concerned when I saw the pictures of the back yard....then looked at street view, with some uncertainty, and then finally I looked at the price it last changed hands at.

For comparison.

I don't know the area (daughter was a student.in Cardiff, and I've been walking in.the hills not far from there) but if you search up to 5 miles from there, there are better investments.

But young people can be wooed by bling.
Luckily when they see the garden they'll realise someone polished a turd
As soon as I saw the photo of the front of it I thought “it looks like those stty terraces that are always at auction for sub £40k guide in terrible condition” - seems right enough.

It’s well presented / polished I suppose but there’s no way it’s worth £125k.

I don’t hate it - they’ve clearly gone for a style, and fully embraced it. If that look is for you, then why not?

My problem is with the power cord for the TV in the picture above... If you’re doing this, why not move the socket or have another one fitted? Seems like a basic miss, which makes you wonder if anything else has been half-way done.

Borrowed money by 2 young insta aspirational wannabes as I say. Move straight in and start snapping away, no work needed to have the interiors they aspire to. Who cares about the outside.

My only question is whether that place would ever be mortgageable without a huge deposit as surely no surveyor will sign off on the valuation anywhere near that with a street full of places at 50% of the price without £10k's worth of bling stuck on.
