I used to own a camping site and siliconed the urinals to tile. When one broke I had to use a hacksaw blade to cut it off the wall.
Silicone gets my vote everytime.

Use this stuff...........

http://adlparts.direct/Catalogue/Product/46285

You'll need a hammer and chisel to get it off again!!

I'd pop a screw in. Less chance of cracking if it's in the middle of the tile. Just use a decent Bosch SDS bit but not the hammer function on the drill. (Fast speed but not too much pressure and keep it wet.) ooo er.

Another vote for silicon, the 1 or 2 hr dry stuff sticks very well, doesn't sag as it's so thick.

I agree about the drilling comments. However, our tiler went through double his usual number of drill bits fitting our bathroom and had to replace a tile which cracked when drilling to fit the shower screen. It just seems our tiles are unusually hard. Given the tile I'll be drilling is right next to the shower I'd prefer not to risk drilling it unless I have run out of options. I'll get some quality tape and silicone and see how that goes first. Appreciate the advice though.
Some tiles acn be incredibly difficult to drill. I usually use a masonry drill no problem. Had a customer who said (can you drill this for me? I add he did prewarn he'd not been able). Started with rechargeable drill, just ran down battery. Went on to corded drill and after 20 minutes I finally mad a 6mm hole in it. Scoring one of these tiles and snapping it, by contrast was a doddle.
Back to Op's question, I'd use Tigerseal, Stixall or similar poly adhesive, they work really well. If you want to remove it at any time use dental floss!

The vhb tape as suggested will be fine, I used it on our dispensers.

Thanks guys, I went with the 3M bathroom tape and Unibond sealant. I also ran a small amount of sealant around the mount to stop water running down the back and getting to the sticky pads. If it falls off the wall you'll probably hear it if you're in Surrey. When it hits the bath it sounds like the roof has fallen in.

Tiles are hard to drill if you A: use the wrong type of Drill and B: the wrong Bits . I use a selection of 4 different Bits .Some will get one hole if lucky in some tiles ! Some will do about 10 max .The secret is to know what bits for what tiles and to know how to "start the cut "

I know this thread is quite old but i figured I'd ask here (it even appeared in a google search)

which glue is best for my situation?

screws have come out of thetop of wall for one bedroom that the door is attached to. I figure I'll just the method of stuffing the hole with glue, and using wooden dowels/matches/toothpicks

But which glue would be best, gorilla glue or no more nails? (or something else)

I had the onerous task of removing a cistern from a piece of wood, which had been glued both the to tiles and cistern with No Nails, and took 1 1/2 hours to cut off, I'd not use no nails if you ever want to get the item off again.

Which screws have come out? Hinge screws or ones holding the case to the wall?

If it’s just wood to wood that you are gluing then wood glue and a tight fitting plug or dowel then trim the excess off and redox once dried.

Gorilla do small bottles of wood glue, white is just a good pva, the other stuff reacts with water/moisture and then expands, great stuff but I’d aim for a good fit before needing the expansion of the glue to fill a gap

The screws that go into the hinge panel for that door, which go into the wall.

I did use gorilla glue before, but it didn't last that long, I still have the bottle, however it's stuck and i can't open it. I'm not sure if it's the glue or maybe I didn't do a good enough job.

Longer screws, so they bite into fresh wood.

Diamond head glass cutting bit. 2 layers of masking tape. Use a drift vert gently to mark the spot and make a start point. Go slow and use water if needed to lubricate.

Obviously a 4 year old post but what kind of 'camping' leads to the regular need to replace urinals!!!
