Rain is seriously stopping play today. Oil has arrived though.

Rain must be hitting the schedule hard. It's scheduled to clear up this evening. Looking good though.

I might've missed this but presumably a project of this scale needed planning approval?
A project of this scale?
'twas but 3 weeks work, M'Lud: most citizens take that long to deploy a garden shed!!!

I'd be surprised. From http://www.doineedplanningpermission.co.uk/plannin... - "Outdoor swimming pools do not generally require planning permission unless you are in an area of outstanding natural beauty, green belt, listed building or a conservation area. "

Can't believe they have let a little rain stop play!

I was thinking more with regards to the area of paving proposed tbh.

Pretty sure you wouldn't need planning for a patio.

Providing it it not raised (and this isn't) then no planning required.

Not strictly relevant, but it is also not visible from the road or my neighbours.

It has stopped now and they are back on it. A lot of time lost though...
