Paving is taking shape. It is a huge area but we plan to finish on time! Rain stopped play (again).

I'm sure your daughter will be in on time... even if theres a bit of loose paving somewhere.

As for a BBQ... don't waste money. Seriously, if you are into entertaining and/or cooking get a proper outdoor kitchen put in. For what the pool has cost and extra £10K will buy you something amazing. Seating for 10-15, grill and oven, sinks etc etc.

You can then call me in as your private chef a few nights a year wink

OP
You will probably be glad you didn't see this before your pool was craned into place.

May have missed it but why did you decide to do so much paving?
Could you not have done a couple of metres around the pool and grassed the rest?

I don't like cutting the grass close to my driveway because I don't want to get grass cuttings in the gravel. A swimming pool would be worse.

laughI know this is asking a lot, but any chance you could get the chaps to crack on and finish by tomorrow evening?

I'm off to Lisbon on Saturday for 3 weeks so will miss the final stages.hehe

I know this is a very expensive project but isn't a pop up holographic tv taking the piss a bit?

It does look very slabby now.....but once there is some furniture (& the full-on outdoor kitchen!) there, I bet it will look just fine!
Congrats on the opening ceremony, happy birthday F smile
