This thread is far from over!

We need to see the paving finished off.

Then we need to see what landscaping is to be done with the now ruined lawn.

Then we have pots/plants etc. for the courtyard.

And I'm most excited about the bespoke outside BBQ area complete with XXL Green Egg......

We just know how bad you are at beating temptation and caving to peer pressure.

Well, you've got me bang to rights there! Was it Oscar Wilde who said 'I can resist everything except temptation'? It does quite sum me up!

In case you haven't sat down and thought about it. 17 days ago that area of your garden was all grass!

Holy st! Congratulations to you and your builders. What an effort!

The location for the pool looks so right, like it was always meant to be there.

The Daughter looks happy aswell so it's a win win situation smile
Thank you, that was exactly what I was trying to achieve with the positioning!

I know, it is quite unbelievable how dedicated Nick and his team - and everyone else involved (big thumbs up to Israr and Nasser for the electrical work too!) have been able to achieve in such a short period of time.

It is amazing what good old fashioned kidnapping can achieve! biglaugh

OK, OK!!!

It looks slower today as the slabs going down are all being hand cut to place. Here is one and give me 15 minutes and I'll have some more!

I've been trying to discern a pattern to the paving and there doesn't appear to be one - I expect that's intentional and I think something which is not that easy to achieve (the randomness I mean).

Been lurking but what an achievement and how happy your daughter is. As others have said don't let our daughters see this thread. Well done Julian.

I hope everyone can see by the pictures that I do all the work whilst the other 2 watch me work.
And I'm the oldest by nearly 20 years. But still the best looking.

He's not wrong about the first bit, but forgot to add about being the most modest to the second bit!

Some people don't like to shout about all their best bits, and modesty is frowned upon by many people so I can see why he wouldn't bring it to our attention.
