Who makes the Dogs of screwdrivers?
Discussion
CK are my go to screwdrivers but I've some nice Stanley ones of various vintages that are good. The handle on the newer Stanley's are very ergonomic and nice to use.
Teng are good too, got a set of Teng torx drivers that seem indestructible.
My VDE sets are a mix of CK and Draper Expert and both are nice to use.
For ball end hex drivers I've got sets of Wiha that I rate highly.

Silly question. Screwdrivers will wear out, so dont bother buying one with the intention of becoming attached tk it. Use screwdriver bits in a holder so you wont hesitate to bin them when they get knackered. Make sure you've got plenty for every size you need You can buy a pack of ten normal ones in each size for about two quid in toolstation or spend more money on GUCCI ones. They're built to be stuck in a drill, so hand screwing over a weekend wont ruin even a single ordinary one.
Having tried more then a few, I'd put them in this order:
1. PB Swiss - made in Switzerland, with by far the best quality control I've ever come across
2. Wera, Wiha and Facom - all very good.
3. Stanley Fatmax - good.
3. Stanley, Draper Expert - mediocre.
I haven't tried Snap-On screwdrivers, but PB Swiss are probably better quality and cheaper too.

Like this oneI've got loads of Weras, but these are still my favourites:

I'm not sure who makes them for Halfords (they're made in Germany) but mine are 7 or 8 years old and still great. I find the handles much better than the Weras.

That works up to a point, however there are a few reasons to use a specific screwdriver-The bit does not fall out at the wrong time
When you need more than one driver you don't need to keep finding the right bit
The bit holder can be too wide to fit in a recess
Bits are easy to lose

Snap On ratchet screwdriver is all you'll ever need.
They are very good as ratchet drivers go, but certainly not all you'll ever need. By necessity they have a very thick shaft () so you are screwed (pun intended) if you ever need to undo a fastener in a recessed hole.Wera and Teng both make decent quality screwdrivers if you don't want to pay Snap On prices, and Facom make some great stuff if you are happy to spend a little more.
Wow, quite the response, thanks guys
Were seems to be getting a lot of love, so something like this perhaps?

I have 2 sets, Stanley fat max and wera and they are both just as good really.
I would suggest for pz2 that you get a screwdriver with the changeable bits in the end, that way you can bin the knackered tip when it gets past its best. I use the dewalt bits from screwfix for this, cheap as chips and almost disposable, use them in my cordless stuff too.
