Tiny Shoes and Socks for Chair Feet...?
Discussion
I've just had a section of decking replaced in a courtyard... it's now all lovely and new and pristine, but I fancy a set of cast iron chairs and a cast iron table. I think iron chair legs on the decking (it's the deep-grooved kind) will destroy it, mark it and maybe even knacker the grooves.
Is there a bizarre, chair-shoe type thing I can use here?
Lots of ideas here, however being cast iron, the feet are normally bent and flat like a tounge, so not all will work.

I would personally go for these, drill hole in flat feet and bolt this through the feet, once securely bolted a quick spray of black paint, job done!

You can use lids from jam jars or similar if you're not fussed about the aesthetic.
I think I'd like to at least make a token effort for it not to look complete st.Might there be something suitable amongst furniture carpet protectors?
