I'm having some issues with mine and was wondering if anyone else had one that does the same.

The scheduler is set up to control heat and hot water throughout the day - but we can manually override the heating by turning the dial to a higher or lower temperature.

Today however - it just doesn't seem to want to cooperate.

The thermostat is connected to wifi and to the heat link. The green light is on at the heat link indicating a good connection, however if I turn the thermostat to a higher temperature - it wont activate the heating.

If I press the manual override button on the heat link - the heating comes on immediately and the thermostat shows "manual" on the screen - showing that the stat and heat link are communicating and that the heat link is controlling the boiler correctly.

However, as soon as I turn the manual override off on the heat link - the heating goes off even though the thermostat indicates that the house is still below the set temperature.

I have tried resetting both the thermostat and the heat link - but neither worked.

It does this intermittently - but has been fine for months. Anyone else had this?

Had similar issues with Hive. However a Hive booster made a massive difference and haven't had issues since. The thermostat is only around the corner from the router!

Just done some troubleshooting - and it turns out it may not be the nest after all. It looks like the Honeywell zone valve controlling the central heating has seized, so despite the heat link getting the correct call for heat signal - the zone valve isn't cycling correctly and triggering the boiler to turn on.

Tap it with a hammer a bit to see if it’ll free up

Same issue I had with my Hive. Luckily I only had to replace the British Gas motorised head with a like for like replacement Drayton one which cost £50 from screwfix. One of the easiest DIY jobs there is.
