I like that. A lot.

My own peninsular is the stuff of dreams.

Grey, grey, grey, grey - I cannot wait for this ghastly fad to be over.
I'm with you on this, we've become a very monochrome society. One exception is a very soft dove or French grey, as long as it's not overused.

Very nice. But I can't imagine having a sauna in your billiard room will do much for your antique billiard table.

Quite like this one too, but would probably ditch the stables for more garaging!

If having your own tennis court is a bit 'council', how about your own cricket ground:

You are near me, I still prefer the one slightly out in Crowborough for that price: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

That's proper porn. If I had to quibble, it's on the wrong side of the river, but to be fair there's sufficient land to find a spot of sun somewhere on the peninsula.

I've decided that I need to live somewhere where a drone is required to give it some aerial perspective.

yet when anyone posts up a link to a colourful house it gets slated. I agree the grey thing is dull. but all colour is temporary in these things, just going to need several coats of white to properly neutralise it before repainting.

I'd agree if it was limited to paint - but it's everywhere - bathrooms, furniture, carpets. I imagine its what living on a battleship feels like.

Very much the wrong side. I lived opposite for nearly 10 years!

If you like that kind of thing there are 8 houses the "right side". One is National Trust, the other 7 are private. One owned by a car dealer (okay he owned a national chain of dealerships), another by a very good music producer, another by a chairmain of a multinational construction co. and another by a retired racing driver. One more by a Dame and another by a fruit processing family. The last one is "still in the family" and the last is now now a private split ownership. There are a couple more hidden out the way, ie. <£5m, one of which is an amazing Bond type house that still has river access at low tide, full tide you could use a mini-sub smile

My personal favorite is on the "wrong side" and a bit upstream towards Sharpham. Lottery win needed to buy it, excavate 1000sqm underneath and put in main services though!

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but assuming you mean the one with the fish I'm pretty sure no photoshop was required as the eagles are as real as the bears climbing the tree in the following pic.

The side which doesn’t have the pensioner magnet, car dealer and builder seems to be the better side to be honest. wink

Google Streetview he say: t'other.

Great spot, though. And I thought *I* wasted too much of my life looking at houses on the internet!
