I like the fact it's unimpressive from the front. Means the inside will have even more impact. It's like a Tardis.

It’s not even within a particularly smart part of the city. Near the University and on a busy main road.

You didn't like my last French offering. Something more classic near Cognac perhaps?

Having a banner on it reading ***ADDITIONAL LAND BY SEPARATE NEGOTIATION*** normally boils my piss. But this is just sublime.

Hallway is simply gorgeous. On the face of it a lovely little pocket chateau. If really fully renovated seems rather reasonable.

Does indeed look lovely, I wonder what outbuildings/ garaging there is? Having seen the moneypit that is on Escape to the Chateau on C4 this looks a good buy.

Stupid question but what's the running cost of such a place? The price seems very reasonable but I assume you have quite a high running cost? (I know nothing about older buildings)

I wouldn't keep my cars in them - https://goo.gl/maps/ABRX7EvPn8k

They don't appear to be with the house to me either.

Plenty of reasons why this Sussex pile is only £925K, but it still seems terrific value.

One of the couples on Escape to the château DIY said their small château needed €5k / month to run.
