Do you mean the tower? It goes down to the hall.

That's the first floor, second floor gallery is only accessible from the master bedroom gallery/wardrobe.

That's what I thought but I don't mind being corrected. Its a Gallery mezzanine to the downstairs hall.

Sorry, I meant it's open down to the hall. Agree the gallery can only be accessed from the bedroom gallery - that the tower gallery can't be accessed any other way is a bit odd, but it's not really a useful space for a sex dungeon!

Ok so it’s not as grand as many on here, but the waiting room was featured on the front cover of Oasis’s Some Might Say.

Edit: Rightmove has more pics Cromford Bridge, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 5JJ

Lovely, and not pastiched ‘character’ like the £7m effort (above) which I really don’t like.

rather fun, but need to be a train enthusiast!
access is by parking in the station car park, and across the bridge (pain getting deliveries)
and still right next to an active railway line - not sure how liability will work renting out that waiting room as a holiday cottage!

Seems like they already rent it, so there must be some arrangement. It's not exactly a busy line, a couple of trains an hour at most.

I'm liking this today. Mainly for the outside aesthetics and the fact that it backs onto Dulwich College playing fields. The S. Circular there is single land and slow moving, so not too much noise, but traffic is grim at busy times.

Not far from our place - what a nice house to live in in London.

Interior needs some work, though. A weird mix of soulless and chintzy.

Today I am rather liking this place (setting aside some dubious furniture choices especially the dining room chairs!)

Nice - except the maze looks a bit of a doddle - unless it is photographed miles away and it is in fact massive!

Is On The Market more high end than Rightmove?

Fyfield's a bit of a pain because it's right on the A420 (it was actually broken up by it when it was built), and you can't really get anywhere without using the dual xarriageway, which kind of belies the rural idyll the houses in the village suggest.

It had a nice pub many years ago, though. Don't know what it's like now.

That is very likeable. The antique TV is probably worth as much as the house? biggrin
