I think that was in 'The Night Manager'
Yup:Daily Mail said:
La Fortaleza, a 17th Century fortress, is said be Spain’s most expensive property. In The Night Manager, it is the lair of ‘the worst man in the world’ – billionaire arms dealer Richard Roper, played by Hugh Laurie.
(Apologies for quoting the Daily Mail.)Needs a garage but this could be pretty interesting

I don't understand what this is. It says development opportunity, but it already exists? Those are actual photos and not insane 3D renders, right?https://search.savills.com/property-detail/gbcirsc...
I live nearby, personally I think Ewen is overrated. I haven't been back to the Wild Duck since Superdry bought it, it's probably better now. But apart from the pub, it's basically a retirement village full of entitled folks, isn't it? Oh, I also think traffic through the village will increase noticeably when the massive development on the south side of Cirencester begins.

Some rendering companies do insane work these days. These would have cost a fortune though at this quality.
Yeah, I had no idea it was economic to do one-offs like that. I mean, I know the quality is possible. i.e. the entire IKEA catalogue is rendered, but they have a good reason and a big budget and a limited set of objects to render. But rendering a one-off house? As you say, that must have cost a fortune.Edited by p1stonhead on Friday 28th September 12:19
Lots of very convincing tricks in there too... fake depth of field. Fake blown highlights (fake limited dynamic range). The textures are amazing, but they do fall short up close (pic 7 wood texture in the foreground). Overall though, staggering. Simply amazing.
Sorry to sidetrack the thread. Very interesting diversion for me though.
Not sure if we've had this one? Findon Place in W Sussex.
