God, when is the obsession for monochrome decorating going to end?

Here's another one. Interesting conversion. Lovely garden. Ugly modern bit. Grey interior. Silly price.

Oh that'll be the 'Orange Tree' (mid week 2 for the price of one pizzas) set then.

Once passed the Brexit depression, perhaps we'll enter a brave new world of enlightenment and colour.

Dear god that’s awful on pretty much every level. That extension. Jesus wept.

Is the massive contrast we see with some of the extensions to the original building driven by planners - to differentiate the two builds? Or is it more driven by the owner/architect?

I quite like that, but for 3 million pounds? Lol. The car showroom curved window is a tad suspect.

Same time people will all stop renting monochrome cars. When the price of money eventually rises. wink

Parnham House Dorset, £3m. One of England's finest Elizabethan houses.

"This exceptional Grade I Listed 16th Century country house extends to about 38,000 sq ft, standing in a stunning parkland setting. Parnham House is one of Dorset's oldest stately homes with the existing house origins dating back to 1552. This 16th Century Elizabethan stone house is Grade I Listed and described as "exceptionally important" by Historic England and is referenced by Pevsner."

Unfortunately - "The house suffered catastrophic fire damage in 2017 and now requires holistic rebuilding and restoration, liaising with Historic England and West Dorset DC on the work."

The suspicious fire - https://www.townandcountrymag.com/society/money-an...

A project.
