Not overlooked laugh

Big too!

What's the catch? Middle of nowhere?
That is one of the least characterful properties that's been posted on here. It's basically a big dormer bungalow in a field.

No 1 is a study in anonymity - and those kitchen curtains are quite something (as are the others tbf). Nice wood burner and, er that's about it.

No 2 didn't bother.

No 3 is a yes, very nicely done, but no land, sadly - it's a built-in-the-garden one, I think?

It simply shouldn’t be in this thread. Utterly characterless architecture and a bland interior.

Have to agree ^^^^

We have the exact same curtains - as the ones in the kitchen - in our apartment bedroom in the Algarve. We wanted something bright and light and also cheap. They deliver on every level and only £15 a pair off ebay. Whilst ideal for what we wanted, would never consider them for our UK house and whoever puts £15 curtains in a £3million house.

A lot newer, and smaller, than it at first appears, but very well done in a quirky converted folly way.

And it has a lion on the roof.

I'm a bit sniffy, but I have to accept that's been done very very well.

Have to agree. Adams is good at producing fairly accurate pastiches of traditional buildings but they don’t ‘do it’ for me. If I had the money I’d rather buy an original period house, or more likely commission a cutting edge modern design from one of the many talented architects here in the UK.

That looks like one of those buildings which was the access point for a hush-hush government nuclear shelter or super secure underground observation post. Drive up in the wrong vehicle, knock on the door and get two chaps in black suits / combat fatigues pointing pointy guns at you. For some reason, many "big" properties in Northern Ireland and parts of the Republic look like this. An empty soulless grass field, with a plain box right in the middle of it, surrounded by a sterile paved area.

I quite like this (was only looking in my local area) and if you can put up with living next door to Michael Owen it seems pretty good value too.
can't believe how much house you get for the money there - Ill deal with the pool by having my breakfast in it biggrin I'm in
1.25m??!!!! fk me!! The house next door went for 1.1m and that is just a reasonalby big but quite normal house with no front garden and an average sized rear one.

Hard to sneak up on someone when there’s nothing to hide behind!

Quite discreet. Interior is lovely!

Looks great. I'm a big fan of modern stuff. But the layout is off.

Think I'd be losing the "staff quarters" and associated facilities in favour of a double garage. And chopping the pool for something else though smile

I'm a fan of Baufritz - I think of them as Hufs that you could actually live in.

KoT rather lacking in land (any land at all), another chop up of an old house's garden.

Bar some cosmetics I am really struggling to find something not to like about this.

Extensive outbuildings, bit of land, golf course, cottages and a gate lodge.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

Does not seem expensive.

There’s not a lot to dislike about the house, grounds, outbuildings etc. shame it’s between shorpe and grimsby.
