"A Cinderella incinerating toilet". If you're stuck on the island in bad weather, and you run out of fairy tale characters, how do you keep the bog alight?
I fancy a stuga, my pal had a composting toilet in his. A barrel of laughs that was.

That's just down the road from me, I'll be offering full asking price when my numbers come up on Tuesday.
Up the road from me smile

Cow Lane is one of the few quiet lanes left around here. We have been supplying the owners but I haven't been to the house.

Right now, I'm a bit bored of my view this morning (water) and fancy something a little more hilly. Today I have a bit of a "log-cabin" feeling along with wanting to be as far away from other people as possible. Enter Montana:

I like this https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop... in my home town (city) of Lichfield. Some of the interior decor is not to my taste, but other than that there's a lot that is good.

What's happening with photos 9 and 10, also 20 and 21! Makes you wonder what's real.

Bizarre. As soon as you spot that, nothing looks real in any of the images. And look at photo 16 - notice anything missing?

They've just changed the furniture, rugs, paintings and lamps to show different looks.

Handsome property and the grounds look lovely. But getting rid of the horrible interior decor and modern fittings required to do the house justice would be expensive.

This popped up in my local feed, and I quite like it. No outbuildings or garaging would put me off though:

In reality, I like this a lot more:

Much better prospect with a bit of outdoor space.

Ha, the invisible photographer! Quite clever of them to show furnishing options, especially in a place that's so dominated by wood. I love a bit of wood myself but this is WOOD. So much of it would drive me mad. The option rooms are a refreshing change.

I still have the hard copy brochure for the last time it was for sale & sold (10 years ago, £5m). TT goes right past the front wall.

All those photos and it's a poor long distance one of the big circular garage. Here it is from the brochure.

I really like that. Some lovely features and an attractive place. Seems reasonably-priced too.

That's because it's at least an hour from anywhere except Plymouth and Tavi.

If the two closest towns to you are Plymouth and Tavistock then, yes, it is. wink

Not an outlandish one here, but for the same price as a two bedroom flat in London, I quite fancy having my own dock and a lot more bedrooms. Commute would be tough though!

If it has underfloor heating for those (beautiful) flag stones, then yep!

Otherwise, lots of pairs of slippers...
