The Roseland Peninsula is just gorgeous.
That house isn't spectacular, this would do me:

Although random scenery pictures in the listing are annoying, and disturb the flow through the pics...

That third one is fantastic especially the out buildings No.1's hall reminds me of the inside of Paisley Sheriff Court!

6 beds, double garage (nose to tail)
But I'm fond of this style of double fronted, sash window, yellow brick house
Only possible downside is the price. Strong money at £2.85M

The nearby station seems to be in a broardly residential area, so no chip shops as such like. Bushy Park is nice for a walk too, and it's not too bad a job to get out to the M25 from there, I don't think.

And if I wanted the benefits of suburbia then I’d use the £3m to be in suburbia and have all the benefits of suburbia.
Teddington is just a bit stuck in the middle of the two lifestyle choices. You’d really want to specifically be in Teddington to give up all the benefits of either a proper London location or a proper suburban one.
One near me.
Wish I had an eye for interior design and the views are lovely.

It’s a very nice area, not enamoured of the kitchen, but if I had a reasonable touch on the lottery, I could go for it, and wave goodbye to the kitchen.
It’d take something attractive to drag me from central London, but this might do it.
Rotherithe is central London now? It’d take something attractive to drag me from central London, but this might do it.
Bet you wouldn’t say that if you were a Cabbie!
