bargain at 3.5M pounds

This photo is not going to do them any favours in selling though.

That would be pretty cool in a better location, imo.
Nah, great location, there's a good pub just outside and don't forget to DOMINATE THE HARBOUR!!!! hehe

As much as I detest London that'd be a pretty good location in all honesty. The pub isn't too bad, there's a nice Indian right next door then the Tower and Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and getting out of London from there isn't too much of a nightmare

For me, it's awful. Sprawling, in a bad way.

No flow to it, very dated. It wants completely remodelling in my eyes.
Agreed (as an aside pic 11 looks as if someone has pissed at the foot of the bed), big isn't always better. I'd prefer any of these 3...

The risk being, you lose your mooring rights and maintenance would be high. Not exactly private. 3.5M buys a lot of property even in St katherine's Dock

Nice enough inside and wouldn't complain if it was mine but the outside is terribly bland.

On the market since 2016, price dropped from £6m to £5m.

It's always bit of a shock when you realise just how long it can take to sell some of these places.

I am honestly surprised that there is a £795k house in Mexborough.

I might be being unfair to the place and it is a while since I spent much time there, but I am surprised!

I think this thread is skewing my view of the world....I looked at that (wonderful) house and actually caught myself thinking that £5m for all that, in that location was a bargain lol

in fairness I do get where you're at with #1 - one of the things that appeals to me it the whole bungalow thing and the sense of space (though it's likely too large for us). #2 I really do like and with a little help the inside could be great too
