Low metal coffee table? - anyone recognise these?

I got these from a very well to-do family member as thanks for helping them move house/downsize etc a decade ago. They were big on pretty expensive arty-furniture stuff - which I know nothing about, and they gave them to me without me asking what they were. At the time they suited the ''look'' I was giving my place (pre women's touch...)

Before I simply list these as ''low heavy metal tables'' I wanted to check if anyone recognised them, or could point out what they are? -or are they simply low heavy metal tables?

Obviously damaged etc, so it was either tip or sling them on gumtree or equiv.

Look like the top off a wood burner / cast iron stove? Maybe recycled art or something.
