I do about 45-50Kw a day - hot tubs have a lot to answer for
50kwh+ for me, hot tub, marine fish tank and a PHEV, oh and a wife thats addicted to the tumble dryer FFS!i can't get on Agile quick enough!
So pulling the actual data from the meter:
I've been on Agile 74 days, used 3106Kwh - which is an average of 41Kwh a Day.
Flat rate at 15p would of cost £466, with Agile it cost me £321 - which is a £144 / 31% saving.
or £4.35 per day v £6.30
Electric oven and Induction hob - which averages about 5kwh in the expensive peak rate, but as you can see i'm still showing a saving - because tumble drier and hot tub etc are not used in the peak.

That isn't true for everyone, a lot of people get their SMETS 2 within weeks, even during Covid.
whilst I'm sure that's the case for a lucky few, it rather feels like they are the minority, there are threads all over various internet forums and even Octopus's own twitter feed is full of people moaning about how long these meter roll outs are taking.Nano2nd said:

To be fair to Octopus... I moaned a little about the delay with our SMETS2 meter and they worked out a 'should have been' cost and credited our account with about £130 so we were not disadvantaged.Much more important than smart meters and tariffs is ...
