Have a look at Hex Bugs:

The kids have these and you have to hunt the vibration noises around the house to find where they've lost them. Very small and could be a good test of the idea.

Are you searching for something like this:

That looks really good. Especially the feature that allows the vibrations to be adjusted. Also considerably more user friendly that the pneumatic drill connected to a milk float battery design I was working on. Bit pricy but worth a go.

These are all really good ideas. I’m starting at the lowest price point and working up, but I reckon one of these must work. There is such a variety of vibrations that one of them must work. Once I find the right frequency I can work on making it more user friendly if necessary.

What you need is a nice small, lower power device from a mobile phone. If you have an old unwanted phone, you could dismantle and canabilise.
Even using something like that, I think you are going to have an issue with battery life.

Vibrating c*ck ring from the pound shop or most pub toilets smile
Would certainly be a cheap way to see if vibrations have any benifits before you splash out.
I imagine an ability to adjust the rpms may be usefull? Dont know anything about the subject but perhaps some people benefit from a different "frequency" as it were?

I think the Doppel watch would be the best route I appreciate the cost but for the potential to improve quality of life and its adjust-ability (if indeed it can be set to a suitable frequency for what you need) then that would be the best route.

Its a pity the Microsoft one isn't available on the open market / open source - it would be worth asking however where there is money to be made.....................

I have heard of this before a few year ago and I'm a bit surprised it hasn't advanced more in that time.

My thoughts would be taking something already available like as prev people mentioned a smart watch and coding it / creating an app to do the required, I'm sure someone could write code for that without too much hassle for the cause!!

ps good luck!
