I have a question regarding motorway parking in the UK.
For example if I'm travelling up north and want to take a break , can I stop at a service station for 1h 59m then drive 10 miles down the road and stop at next service station for another 2 hour break ?
I'm wondering as sometimes I need a longer break and I'm forced to wait or go into some side street .
I can't find any information on this topic so any tips are welcome , also would it matter if it's the same company e.g. parking eye

You could pay and stop longer at one service station.

What's stopping you from pulling off at a junction and finding a layby on a nearby A-road to grab a snooze in, or if you need facilities, finding the nearest Sainsburys etc? They're not normally that far away from motorways.

You can't find any because it's such a weird question. What makes you think there is any link?
Each site is a separate entity. Which PPC operates therein is irrelevant. The answer is yes, you can. smile

OP,

Just so we know, what is the journey that requires you to need to take a four hour break? And are you in a car?

Who needs longer than 2 hours unless you are a trucker or stopping overnight? I go in use the toilet get some food and go. 30 minutes or so is plenty.

Most supermarkets are ANPR with a two hour max parking limit.

You should have seen the bullshat excuses as to why people "needed" more than 2 hours rolleyes
Then the weasley lies the minister used to write/sqiggle on the bottom of an "msu" when they replied to a correspondent used to boll my pish.
Anyway to answer the question you asked.
Perfectly fine to park 2 hours and move on then park again at next msa thumbup
I've thoughtfully provided a little map for you to plan your journey smile (it is about 2 years old)

I wonder why ?
Maybe people car shared from those as well ?
It's 4 hrs round here which helps to avoid the long stay airport parkers abandoning vehicles on their private land. Not good really as yokels living near airports don't like people using/parking on public roads in legal manner.

Oh well, you could have always got a car instead of a Mobility scooter!

I drove from Aberdeen to Peterborough last year and felt properly tired at durham, so pulled into the services. 2 hours free... Mmmm, I thought, what if I zonk out and just dont wake up? Wandered in, and the pay machine was offline...

Got back in the car, drove around a bit and pulled into a farm gate and had 3 hours sleep there. Then carried on and got to my dads for breakfast (then slept another 12 hours)

A lot of people live in their cars on such parking areas & move from one to another.
I recall seeing the same lived-in car for months parked at the motorway services near Maidstone.
You will increasingly find such individuals living in cars & caravans parked on the seafront in a number of our seaside towns - in the south of course where it's warmer.
