No. OP is a fantasist who needs help. In 2014 yes I probably paid around £35k-£40k too much, but I knew long term it would pay off due to the location / area type of property plus I wouldn't have to move again which would probably cost me £35k-£40k in stamp duty anyway. Even in current climate I recon I'm 10%-15% up on what I paid.
