Gutted this morning.
Popped down to the allotment and all the tomato plants are going brown, think it's blight.
We were looking at our first bumper crop this year, 12 plants in the ground and green, growing tomatoes everywhere.
They're all going to be dead.
This gardening lark is rubbish sometimes!

First time growing tomatoes from seed this year.
I now have 2 monster plants, 6ft tall, need watering nearly every day, covered in fruit and flowers so quite pleased. Lost one in the wind which was annoying.
Your blight could just be lack of water perhaps?
They've been fairly regularly watered and it was wet down here this week and last week. I'm worried i've planted mine too close together and that's what's brought it on. We'll try again next week! Not gardening as such, but related...
I've been making some knives and sheaves for the kids, as you do when you can't go out, and swmbo asked for a holster for her secateurs. I used a brass clip from a dog lead and fear it's a bit floppy, but hopefully it'll get used and stop her leaving them out in the rain.

Another before and after from me here. A bit of lawn care and some ‘hoping for the best’ when planting the border. The guide heights on all the plants I’ve bought have been useless so I’ve got 70cm tall plants at the front of the borders and 30cm tall plants in the middle, so it looks like I’ll have to dig some up and replant over winter. Still, it’s colourful....

I love it as it has the wild cottage look that I have also tried for. Mind telling me what the flowering plants are? Also where on earth do you live? Those views! What a place to sit and enjoy your garden.

I’m home. With my collection of white cobbles that have been added to my water feature. I appear to have collected the perfect quantity to cover the base which I’m happy with.
Just checked my Lilies which have flowered whilst I was away and smell gorgeous in the night air
Looking good Gretchen, I only lost two T-Shirts to stains from mine this year, totally worth it for the smell alone. Just checked my Lilies which have flowered whilst I was away and smell gorgeous in the night air
