We used to call them “light blue Sp***er-mobiles”, well, those light blue three wheeler ones anyways.
Yep https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invacar. Haven't seen one on the road for probably 30 years or more.deckster said:

There's a good reason for that.ChevronB19 said:

12 Acres a stones throw from Epsom race course?
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/85170988#/
6 Beds
£2.999M
Needs some serious modernisation work, but that stable complex could hold a hell of a car collection
Only worth £3M to a unicorn buyer who needs the horsey stuff. As a location and a house it has very little to offer.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/85170988#/

Being near Epsom race course doesn't really add much to the value, it doesn't hold many races throughout the year and the Derby has become a magnet unless you can wangle a ticket into a corporate box in the Queens Stand.
Apologies is shared previously, but how many period features would sir like for just £1M...

I was just thinking that not much would persuade me to want to live in Scotland except maybe this house.https://search.savills.com/property-detail/gbedsce...

To be fair, although the Streetview images are as you say pretty uninviting they were taken 11 years ago and the blurb does say the house has had a full restoration. I can't imagine that somebody who has taken the effort to get the interior looking as good as it does would have left the outside in that state. It's still hard for somebody used to southern prices to quite comprehend what a million quid will get you elsewhere in the country. Then I Google Earthed it....

Meanwhile over in France:

£273k buys a heck of a lot, I can't undertand the 'estimate of notary fees: approx. € 22,300' though?

This has caught my eye today. Close to being perfect for me .... traditional and character building with lots of modernisation in side. Land, pool, garaging, etc. Oh and near a pub!
When scanning though I discounted this as I thought pebble dash.
