In that area I imagine most big houses will have garages so you would need a very large car collection to justify it(so most of PH then )
In the city centre you wont have much parking but who would want to travel miles to collect a car
Me. I'd be happy to have my driver's cars stored next to some driver's roads if I lived in a city. In the city centre you wont have much parking but who would want to travel miles to collect a car

The odd paragraph in the description wouldn't go amiss though.

Not for me, I'm afraid. The 'restoration' is unsympathetic and seems to prefer mod cons to original character, but still looks a place for show rather than living in. I wouldn't mind the library though, I could probably get most of my books in https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

Hardly porn in the traditional sense, but loving the hillbilly outbuilding, complete with stage and spit and sawdust floor.
You would just HAVE to make moonshine and wear dungarees with no tshirt while playing a ukulele wouldn't you!

Agreed, libraries tend to become a storage facility for books that have been read once and which will never be read again.
Along with his extensive medical related collections he also buys entire collections of classic novels he found in some quaint bookshop and entire collections of AA maps, encyclopaedias etc etc etc even the whole set of Rupert Bear annuals ffs - any old st basically. And that's just the books
This is why I found this thread because we are looking for a bigger house lol

I do like this bit from the description: " this home has undergone extensive and painstaking renovations over the past 10 years by the current owners to make it a magnificent country home once again "
If they wanted to make it a county home, surely they'd need to dismantle it and reconstruct it somewhere else...like in the actual countryside?
