That looks like pretty good value. As said, it's the wrong side of Worcester, but apart from that...

Aside from that attic room that looks like a cheap hair salon, I quite like this one

There's something odd going on there. The floor plan only shows the L half of the building (looking at it from the front). The front clearly has 2 downstairs windows either side of the front door but the fp only shows the L pair.
There's no mention of anything shared but is it all the building on offer? There's also another garage to the R of the main building that isn't the one in the listing.
It's very nice and it would seem odd not to be a single property.

Good spot - I looked at the floorplan and thought it looked bigger than 4004 sq ft (iirc)

Yeah you are right about that and hard to decipher exactly whats going on from the description and pics. Says triple garage with annexe but the triple garage is pictured to the left of the house (as looking at the front from the driveway) so I cant tell what the part of the building missing from the floorplan is.

The attic room is probably decorated to the tastes of the person currently using it, perhaps a live at home older child or something. Once you empty their stiff, it’s just an empty room that needs a paint.

Nothing to reject the home over....

Or has this thread become just a mocking board if someone else’s taste and tattles? It’s about the property isn’t it, not the junk?

Seems like you get everything to the left of the line, but nothing to the right:

And I think the wierd attic room is probably the one above the garage. Could be rented/for a nanny/teenager etc.

It looks like a semi to me.

The floor plans only cover the property only to the left of the entrance hall. Everything to the right is missing, and the number of bedrooms says it’s all the left hand side.

If that’s true, the EA is an asshole.

Asshole is a condition that seems to be spreading among agents currently, and I am surprised it is allowed to happen.

There have been several properties that I have looked at recently where something didn't stack up and only a bit of sleuthing revealed what. Usually a shared drive, separate land price or some such and clever photo angles.

Are you the house owner by any chance then laugh

But of course its easily changed and nothing to reject a house over. However, if it turns out to actually be a semi detached and you're sharing half the ground with somebody else, then that definitely might be.

Yeah, that's naughty. Still quite nice, but far less want-able.

Ha defo not, although my own house is at least detached!!!! But a lot cheaper.

Just it’s getting that lovely properties are being judged on things that patently wouldMy be there the day you moved in because they are the chattles not fixtures. I’d love to have that attic room to put up some long term hangers on.....

Very dodgy not stating the property type. It’s a semi. End of. How does the EA think this will get past the viewing?

If you search for it on Rightmove it's listed as a 'Terraced house'. So there might be several neighbours hiding around the corner...!

spreading? Has it ever left? Went to see a house about 20 years ago which sounded perfect, arrived early (as is my wont - gives me time to look around/get lost) only to find out that the house backed onto the municipal dump.... no a word about it in the description and several phone conversations. Cancelled the viewing there and then and the shiny suited bugger was pissed at me for wasting his time! Semi's not marked as such (as above), shared driveways not mentioned, houses where leasehold is not disclosed, flats where the length of the lease isn't disclosed until after viewings. And on and on and on. Shysters the lot of 'em

The house I currently live in was described as 'vacant posession' - imagine my surprise when I looked round and met the owners, living there.

"Oh, well they've found a house they want to move to...."

Vacant possession or no upward chain? VP you'll probably find the owners there, they're just promising to be out at completion.

It was 10 years ago now, so yes, no onward chain - apologies.
The vendors themselves told me they were waiting for the house they wanted to become free, as their vendors were in a chain ("no, you're in a chain too").
At the time we were living in rented as we'd sold down south, my wife had just given birth to a daughter that was destined to spend the first four months of life in hospital 45 miles away and I was trying to hold down a job, visit my new, sick family and manage a supposedly straightforward house move.
It was only the threat of us pulling out that sent them into rented (actually, it was me ranting at the agent, in the middle of a busy office how they were full of st and I didn't need their games at that moment due to other, more important things giving me st and that we would pull out unless completion happened within a week - I was somewhat stressed).

Can't be arsed to look back and find it or even if it was pawn or nightmare thread but Troy House, auction estimate £200,000-300,000, has sold for £1,300,000.
