Which clips / hooks to hang outdoor Christmas lights to uPVC

Has anyone got any recommendations of clips or hooks to stick to uPVC and hang xmas lights outside?

I tried the Command decorating clips in the link below but they are useless. I cleaned the surface with white spirit also, but they just fall right off with any pressure.

Use meths, not white spirit. White spirit is greasy and will stop them sticking.

Seconded, mine are on their 3rd season this year, although it may be their last as a couple are on their last legs.

I use small cable clips (like an 'h' shape with a nail sticking out) hammered into the brickwork. If you don't hammer them all the way in you have a gap to insert the wire.
