Does it even have a toilet?
Not defending it, it s awful. But there is a toilet - you can see the flush for it next to the shower in one of the photos.
The toilet itself is shown in photo 15...

You have to click on the image to open it up to see it though.

Which is ironic as you can probably see the entire place in a split second even if you blink in person. .

"The shower room is finished to a high standard with a stone marble floor, and the flat also features a discreet built-in washbasin with mirrored cabinet, power socket and extra storage. A second compact shower can accommodate an additional guest if needed."

WFT, a second shower, are they expecting 10 people to live there or something?

Well it saves a queue in the morning.

That was my first thought. Rich City dude using it to (discretely) bang his employees.

Cheaper to just get a Premier Inn for the night (000s of times). More space and a breakfast included.

There's another one from the same agent, done out in the same 1930s liner cabin style https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/71787769... Cheaper and with a balcony! I quite like them

Thanks for pointing out the toilet, I hadn't seen it.

But honestly - what the fk? Surely nobody is buying these? You can get an actual one bedroom flat in zone two for that sort of money.

I know it’s Banff, but that is suspiciously cheap.
Great opportunity for someone though - as long as they want to live in the location.

Someone who wants a pied-à-terre in Zone 1. Or someone who'll keep on using it as an airbnb and probably have an appreciating asset into the bargain.

Not me, but I can imagine people it'd work for.

Same as you, I'd not even give it a thought but having worked in the city for a long time and knowing many city workers who are married to their jobs (lawyers/accountants) this is the kind of thing that would be considered and £300k isn't a lot of money to some. The notion of being able to finish work at some silly hour, walk to your own bed and be back in the office early the next day, I can see there being a market. I wouldn't touch it though haha.
