Bought (by builders) in Sept '24 for £326k. Since extended a bit, and tidied up. Now £750k on a tiny plot on a busy junction, and opposite a derelict site where planning permission is being sought to build a data centre. I'll pass.

We'll see whether it sells and for how much, but my call is that they'll be knocking a six-figure sum off the asking price at some point in the not so distant future.

It's a bot.
Really. Im bloody not.
Sorry - over £800k for a three bedroom bungalow in Liverpool; have we stepped through the looking glass?

That's what a bot would say wink
Formby is not in Liverpool!
One might argue that both aren't so mucg Formby as more Freshfield. (My mother would be one of those types)

L37 still tends to be aspirational for many a scouser.

Looks okay. Maybe a bit short. Knock out the rear wall and add a 3 foot to the length maybe. Extend foward too?
Most of the garages in that area have been converted into extra rooms. (Should be a criminal offence)

Good call: extend back to the house and move the front door forwards by three feet to give direct access to the garage from the house.

Challenging buy

Grade II Listed. No mains services, but "electricity from a lithium battery and invertor installation which can be powered by a generator or solar panels... subject to planning approval"

Also on a farm. And in a state. Attractive though and nice part of the world

I could have sworn that was just on the TV, some show about celebs moving to the country had them looking for a property for the ginger bloke off Strictly and his wife.

There was a lovely London rental posted on reddit. Sorry, no link, picture will have to do ... it's only just over a grand a month, of course you don't get your own toilet.

Irrespective of your gender, physical appearance or marital status, you should prepare to be regarded as highly-covetable wife-material by all the locals.

And you're a long way from help up there.

Mega.

But would you bother going down the ladder first, or just aim the stream directly in from the bed???

As a teenager I used to think that the estate i now live on in L37 was where the poor kids lived.

When my wife and I moved back to be nearer her family there were only about 3 houses we could actually afford.
