Holy moly, my friends bought this house, I was there last August!

It's a major renovation project, there's a tree growing into the sitting room, the kitchen is from the 60's and the pump for the pool is under a hedge, just a hedge.

Maybe you could find out what happened, I know the scaffolding was all over the house prior to the fire so I'm guessing that there were issues with the roof that they were having addressed and something went badly wrong.

Either way it's a real shame, I've driven past it twice a day for many years and apart from the slightly awkward location of the vehicle access I've always loved it.

Got the SP. The owners were away skiing and their parents (who live in the annex) phoned them to say the fire alarm was going off. The rest is as they say, history. Fire started in the roof. Completely gutted so a large restoration job!

Caravan park isn’t ideal but you wouldn’t never hear it and have enough trees to hide it, the surrounding areas and the town of Callander are fantastic though basicly the start of the highlands on your doorstep and a few wonderful lochs too.

Tbh it’s not as much work as people think to change, biggest job would probably be the black kitchen, everything else seems to be furniture and decoration work.
